Stuff and Nonsense appointed as @HOME Artist
We are thrilled to announce that Stuff and Nonsense has been appointed as one of the @HOME Artists at The Point in Eastleigh.
The core goal of @HOME is to support non-ACE NPO (non core-funded) companies who have an existing profile and work portfolio, but who have little or no core infrastructure, going on a joint journey over an extended period of time and fuelling an upward trajectory artistically or organisationally.
The reciprocal partnership will allow us to connect with The Point and its audiences, breaking down barriers between artist and venue, and also allow us to become involved in developing the creative programmes at The Point. As an @HOME artist we want to work with The Point to strive towards developing an international audience, while delivering innovative outreach work and programming agendas.
Associate Producer Claire Morton said:
“Stuff & Nonsense are delighted to be part of the @HOME scheme with The Point, an extension of its earlier partnership with sister venue The Berry.
We are excited by the opportunity to exchange skills and expertise with The Point and the other @HOME artists, and to work closely with the venue and its audiences to develop new artistic projects and opportunities for deeper engagement – starting with a new production for Christmas 2018.”
