CASTING CALL! – Three Little Pigs
We are casting for our new show The Three Little Pigs!
Three Little Pigs is a commission by Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts and Theatre Royal Plymouth, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, with additional support from the National Theatre through NT Generate, The Point, Eastleigh and The Lyric, Bridport.
We seek:
2 exceptional physical performers that identify as male to play main character role and puppeteer
Skills required:
exceptional physicality, able to use this as a language alongside text
strong singing voice (can be an unconventional voice)
ability to voice puppets (ventriloquism or voice throwing an advantage) strong skills in devising, comic ability, able to connect directly to an audience
Optional skills:
playing a musical instrument.
You need a love of the devising process and a thirst to create! Dance, physical theatre and/or circus training are common in our creative team.
The show will be on tour in Autumn 23 and Spring 24 with long runs at Lighthouse, Poole for Xmas 23 and Theatre Royal Plymouth Easter 24.
