Following premiere at Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre in 2010, the Little Red Hen was a touring hit – undertaking over 260 performances to over 35,000 people up to 2016, including extensive Christmas and holiday bookings. In 2022 it is being restaged ahead of a festive run at The Stables, Milton Keynes, and further touring in 2023.
Restaged with the support of Lighthouse, Poole and The Lyric, Bridport; original production supported by Salisbury Playhouse; Halton Borough Council; Taunton Brewhouse; The Lyric, Bridport with public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
